Dr. Bertha I. Schwarz-Kaufmann

Dr. Bertha I. Schwarz-Kaufmann (Др. Берта Исаевна Шварц-Кауфман)  resided in Harbin from 1912 until her death.  She maintained a medical practice and assisted numerous needy Jews. 
She was concurrently a committee member of the Zionist Organization in Harbin, Advisor and Committee member of the Harbin Jewish Association, and the Harbin Jewish School. (a detailed memorial newspaper article can be had on request).
